Our Nutritional Ethos

We recognise the importance of good nutrition practices and their role in optimising the performance of our clients.

 Food is vital for:

  •  Fueling – to fuel the muscles and brain for exercise and training, so that energy levels are maximised, via carbohydrates

  • Recovery – to enhance recovery times and reduce muscular soreness and fatigue, particularly during periods of heavy training, via proteins

  • Immunity – to enhance the immune system, which is especially important for those who are more susceptible to infection, via fruits, vegetables and good fats

  • Hydration – to maintain an optimal hydration status during exercise and training, to mitigate any reduction in decision making and physical performance, via fluids

  • Physique – the right physique is key for physical performance. We regularly monitor this and advise our clients on how they can manage their diets via energy balance, macronutrient intake and portion control

We promote a positive message around nutrition and food, and how it can optimise health and performance. We try to educate our clients wherever possible whether it is trialing new skills, routines, dietary habits or safe supplement use. We want to expose them to new dishes, ingredients, which will vary the diet and interest in nutrition.

We recognise that are clients have different goals, objectives and challenges. Come from different backgrounds, cultures, nationalities and with different beliefs around nutrition and food. We try to accommodate these individual tastes within our overall approach.

Finally, we want our clients to enjoy their food and their performance, health and well-being journey.
